► Brief Introduction

The Med-tronic Physio-Control LIFEPAK 20 (LP20) defibrillator ECG interface is a device that allows healthcare professionals to monitor a patient's heart rhythm and provide lifesaving interventions if needed, such as defibrillation or cardioversion. The LP20 has an ECG interface that displays the patient's cardiac rhythm in real-time, allowing healthcare professionals to quickly identify arrhythmias or other abnormalities.

The Backlight Inverter provides power to the internal fluorescent backlight in Active Display. Filtered SW_VBatt is provided to the Backlight Inverter through the User Interface PCB. The output of the inverter is 1000–1500 RMS, open-circuit power to the internal Active Display backlight.

► How to Removed

• Wear protective equipment - Before doing any work on any electronic device, put on protective equipment such as gloves, safety glasses, and an anti-static wrist strap.
• Identify the inverter board - Locate the backlight inverter board and the backlight inverter cable inside the defibrillator. The backlight inverter board is responsible for supplying power to the LCD display.
• Remove the defibrillator cover - Gently remove the defibrillator cover by unfastening the screws or clips holding the cover in place. Ensure that you keep the screws and clips in a safe place to use them when you put the defibrillator back together.
• Remove the old parts - Carefully remove the old backlight inverter board and backlight inverter cable from the defibrillator. Remove any connectors attached to the inverter board and cable.
• Install the new parts - Install the new backlight inverter board and backlight inverter cable by attaching them to the connectors and fixing them in place. Make sure all screws are connected tightly.
• Test the defibrillator - Turn the defibrillator on to test if the backlight inverter board is working correctly. If there are no issues, put the cover back in place and secure it with the screws or clips.

To remove the backlight inverter, pull the backlight inverter away from the display bracket and remove excess adhesive.

To remove the W17 Backlight Inverter cable, W15 Active Display cable, or W16 Display Jumper Cable Extender, pull the cable away from its connector on the A08 Backlight Inverter or the A11 Active Display
