Description

Instruction of Use

1. According to the Mindray defibrillator operation manual, select the position on the patient's body to paste the electrode pads. There are 2 ways to stick it: the first is to stick the RA pad on the heart and the LL pad on the right sternum; the second is to stick the LL pad on the front chest and the RA pad on the back.

2. Make sure the skin contact area is clean and dry. Remove body hair if necessary.

3. Remove the protective film from the electrode pads.

4. Press the electrode pads to ensure they are in good contact with patient’s skin.

5. Connect the electrodes to the defibrillator multi-function cable, then connect the cable to the Mindray defibrillator.

6. Perform defibrillation operations according to the instruction manual of the defibrillator equipment.

7. Replace the electrode pads every 24 hours or after 50 defibrillation discharges. Replace the electrode pads after 8 hours of continuous pacing.

Notice

1. Do not crush, bend, fold, or place the defibrillation pads under heavy objects when storing them.

2. Open the bag before use.

3. Please check the packaging bag before use. Do not use if it is damaged.

4. Do not use if the electrode pad gel has dried.

5. Do not use other conductive gels or pastes on the surface of the electrode gel.

6. Defibrillator electrode pads can't contact with other electrodes or metal that is connected to the patient's body.

7. Do not touch the patient during defibrillation.

8. Do not use this electrode pad for discharge of hand-held electrodes.

Warning: Failure to follow the instructions or any other misuse or misapplication of the electrode pads will result in burns to the patient and ineffective treatment (reddening of the skin is normal). Only applicable to Mindray defibrillator equipment.
