Description

The simplest TN LCD panel consists of two polarizers, two glass substrates with transparent electrodes, ITO (indium tin oxide), and a thin layer of liquid crystal material sandwiched between the electrodes.

When the voltage is turned off, natural light from the light source becomes polarized line light through the top polarizer. When polarized light encounters a nematic liquid crystal layer, it maintains its original transparency without distortion Due to the vertical position of the linear light and the bottom polarizer, it will be blocked by the bottom polarizer.
