The variable pressure vacuum drying equipment is currently an ideal equipment for drying oil paper insulation power equipment such as power transformers and transformers with voltages of 220kV and 110kV and below. Compared with traditional hot air circulation drying and ordinary vacuum drying, it shortens processing time by about one-third, reduces energy consumption by 40% -50%, and significantly reduces water content after treatment.

Working principle of vacuum drying equipment:
By vacuuming, the saturated vapor pressure of water in the environment where the coil insulation material is located is reduced, making it easier for it to evaporate from the insulation paper. During this period, it is continuously heated and the temperature is raised to ensure the gasification energy of water, making it easier to discharge.

Characteristics of vacuum drying equipment:
Ordinary heating and drying start from the surface and gradually progress to the interior of the insulation material. Due to rapid surface drying, the capillary tubes of the outer insulation paper shrink, making it difficult for the internal moisture to evaporate and prolonging the drying time. The variable pressure method intermittently exhausts during the drying process, causing the evaporated water vapor and hot air to circulate together in the tank. Due to the much larger heat capacity of water than air, the heating speed is faster, and the diffusion of water vapor is strong, resulting in a relatively small temperature difference inside and outside the insulation material.
