Rotary kiln introduction:
The rotary kiln achieves the purpose of sintering by placing raw
materials into a rotating cylinder for thermal reaction. A cylinder
rolled from steel plates with a thickness of 10 to 45 mm, lined
with refractory bricks or other refractory materials.
According to the different materials processed, it can be divided
into cement kiln, metallurgical chemical kiln and lime kiln. The
cement kiln is mainly used for calcining cement clinker. It is used
to roast aluminum hydroxide into alumina in aluminum production. It
is used in ironmaking to produce pellets for blast furnace
ironmaking. It is used in the chloride volatilization roasting
method to extract tin and Lead, etc., during the mineral processing
process, a rotary kiln is used to magnetize and roast the lean iron
ore, so that the original weak magnetism of the ore is changed into
a strong magnetism, which is beneficial to the magnetic separation
of the magnetic separator. In the chemical industry, rotary kilns
are used to produce soda, calcine phosphate fertilizers, barium
sulfide, etc.
Feature:
1. Filled, circular or square vertical cooler with zoned
ventilation, the temperature of the lime coming out of the cooler
is 800C + ambient temperature, which is convenient for
transportation and storage, and can preheat the secondary air
entering the kiln to above 7000C, reducing moving parts and special
materials.
2. A rotary kiln with a vertical preheater installed at the end of
the rotary kiln can make full use of the exhaust gas to preheat the
material, greatly reducing fuel consumption and having certain
advantages in production.
3. The vertical preheater with advanced structure and low pressure
loss can effectively preheat the preheated limestone. The
decomposition rate of the preheated limestone in the kiln can reach
20-25%, and 10-15mm fine-grained limestone can be directly used.
4. Reliable combined scale seals at both ends of the rotary kiln.
Use composite refractory materials to make the air leakage
coefficient less than 10% to reduce radiant heat loss.
