Installation Requirements of Cryogenic Fall Lift Safety Valve
When the fluid is a liquid, the valve stem of the cryogenic valve
should be installed upwards to prevent some liquid remaining in the
valve cavity after the valve is closed. The liquid vaporization
causes abnormal pressure rise and the gate cannot be opened.
Moreover, the valve stem of the cryogenic valve is longer, so
attention should be paid to it during installation.
For low temperature gate valves with pressure relief holes, the
direction of the pressure relief holes should be marked on the
valve body, and the mark should not be covered by the cold
insulation layer.
