DIN 2391 ST45 cold-drawn high-precision seamless tubes are medium carbon steel tubes with an elemental composition of 0.24% carbon, 0.10-0.35% silicon, 0.40-0.80% manganese, 0.025% phosphorus max, 0.025% sulphur max, and the rest iron. DIN 2391 ST45 carbon steel tubes can be stimulated by induction hardening, whereby the end product can ultimately increase its hardness properties to a level of approximately HRC 55.
