Basic introduction
Mobile power pack (MPP), also known as power bank, travel charger, etc., is a portable charger that integrates power supply and charging functions. It can charge digital devices such as mobile phones and tablets. Generally, lithium batteries are used as energy storage units, which are convenient and quick to use.
The "Notice on Strengthening the Safety Management of Lithium Batteries Carried by General Aviation Short-distance Transport Passengers on Board" issued by the Civil Aviation Administration of China mentioned that short-distance transport passengers carry mobile phones, power banks, computers, cameras, tablets and other electronic devices containing lithium batteries on board. When encountering collisions, extrusions, high temperatures, etc. during the flight, it is very easy to cause smoke and fire due to internal short circuits of lithium batteries.
