Description
Calcined Petroleum Coke is a black or dark gray solid composed of
carbon, hydrogen and oxygen. It is a carbonaceous material obtained
by calcination of green petroleum coke at high temperatures.
Features
Calcined Petroleum Coke is mainly used in metallurgical industry,
machinery, electronics and chemical industry. It has features such
as good thermal conductivity, low ash, good recarburizer and
thermal stability.
Uses
Calcined Petroleum Coke can be used as a substitute for electrical
resistance furnaces, for smelting aluminum and for producing
electrodes for steelmaking. It is also used in the manufacture of
abrasives, refractory bricks, crucibles and graphite products, as
well as in plastics, rubber and pesticides.
