1. Product Description of Ceramic Beads Blasting Media
Ceramic Blasting Media is one clean and efficient blasting
media,with hardness 7-8 Mohs.
It is fused by high quality zircon sand as main materials,then
fused in high temperature over 2000 degrees,
and finally made into different size by special technology.
Ceramic beads is the ideal substitute for glass beads,its service
life can be prolonged 25 times compared
with glass beads. It also has the outstanding characteristics of
high hardness,high strength,high elasticity,
which is mostly suitable for the metal surface finishing.

4. How to choose high-quality ceramic beads?
Testing the service-life of ceramic beads: tested by traditional owen testing machines as well as
pneumatic sandblasting and crushing tests, which can intuitively
measure the beads’ service life ;
Or directly evaluate its normal consumption in a certain period on
the customer's production equipment;
Testing the chemical composition: Zirconium oxide is the main carrier during the impact process,
its outstanding features of good toughness and impact resistance
ensures the integrity of the morphology.
Particle Size Distribution: The particle size of ceramic beads directly affects the roughness
of sandblasting,
and both too high and too low can have adverse effects. Meanwhile,
the width of particle size distribution affects
the stability of blasting’s roughness. The narrower the particle
size distribution is, the more uniform the particles
are, and the more conducive to stabilizing the sand blasting
quality.
Morphology testing: The morphology of the ceramic beads has a significant impact on
the surface glossiness
of sandblasting. The better the sphericity, the higher the
glossiness of the sandblasted surface will be achieved.
