Sandblasting brown aluminum oxide, also known as brown fused
alumina, emery, is an artificial corundum made by melting and
reducing raw materials of bauxite, carbon material and iron
filings. The main chemical composition of brown corundum is Al2O3
from 95.00% to 97.00%, and contains a small amount of Fe, Si, Ti,
etc. Brown corundum is the most basic abrasive with good grinding
performance, wide application range and low price, it is widely
used for sandblasting.
