Zirconia balls belong to a class of grinding beads, with a density
of 6.0, a bulk density of 3.2, a content of about 95% zirconium
oxide, and a content of 4.8% yttrium. They are also called 95
yttrium stabilized zirconia balls.
Zirconia balls can be used as grinding and grinding media in
stirring mills, sand mills, and ball mills.

High grinding efficiency:
Due to the high density of zirconia balls 6.00g/cm3, they have
greater grinding kinetic energy at the same movement speed, and the
grinding efficiency is 2-3 times higher than that of ordinary
ceramic beads. You can get a more ideal effect.
Good Impact resistance and low abrasion:
Due to the high content of ZrO2, the zirconium beads have the
advantages of high density, high toughness, low abrasion, no broken
balls, peeling, etc., and it has little dispersal and pollution to
the abrasive.
The abrasion is 4-10 times lower than ordinary ceramic beads.
Good thermal stability
Good wear resistance in high temperature and corrosion resistance,
high rigidity, non-magnetic conductivity, and electrical
insulation. When the zirconia ceramic ball is at 600℃, its strength
and hardness are almost unchanged.
Zirconia balls have been successfully used in heavy calcium,
zirconium silicate, paint ink, kaolin, ceramic ink, ceramics,
colored glaze, iron ore and other fields.
