1. Product Description of Ceramic Bead Blasting
Ceramic Bead is the fusion of zircon sand under high temperature
over 2000℃,then made into different
beads through special technologies. Ceramic Bead has the
outstanding characteristics of high mechanical
strength and narrow particle size distribution,good sphericity,so
it is widely used in surface finish applications.

4. Main Applications of Ceramic Bead Blasting Media:
Surface finish for 3C Products & its accessories;

Surface cleaning for glass-bottle molds, rubber molds, die casting

Surface preparation before anodizing etc;
Surface strengthening for golf-heads, artificial joints etc;
Shot peening in aerospace ,automotive industry to eliminate the
stress and improve anti-fatigue.
5. How to select the good quality ceramic beads?
The quality of ceramic beads can be judged through the
sphericity,durability testing , lower break-down rate,
more consistent surface blasting effect, lower water absorption
etc.
The quality can be tested easily after blasting process. Suggest
test the sample at first when using ceramic
beads for the first time.
6. The comparation among ceramic beads, glass beads, steel beads
Ceramic beads has medium density ,it will make up the upper and
lower limits between glass beads and
steel beads;
Ceramic beads has lower break-down rate compared with glass
beads,it will reduce the refuel times,
improving the blasting efficiency, finally achieving more
consistent and shining blast effect;
Ceramic beads will not generate new ferrous contamination to the
work-pieces, then it will replace steel
beads where ferrous contamination is not allowed.
Ceramic beads will bring Lower cost for solid-waste treatment,
saving the overall product cost.
