Inconel 601 Sheet High Performance Alloy Steel Plate For Construction

Inconel 601 alloy is a nickel-chromium-iron-based solid solution strengthened alloy. It has good high-temperature corrosion resistance and oxidation resistance, excellent hot and cold processing and welding properties, and has satisfactory thermal strength and high plasticity below 700°C. The alloy can be strengthened by cold working, and can also be connected by resistance welding, solution welding or brazing. It is suitable for making anti-oxidation parts that can withstand low loads below 1100°C.

Inconel 601 Chemistry:

1. Excellent high temperature oxidation resistance
2. Good carbonation resistance
3. Good anti-oxidation sulfur atmosphere
4. Excellent normal and high temperature mechanical properties
5. Excellent resistance to stress corrosion cracking. Due to the control of carbon content and grain size, 601 has high creep rupture strength, so it is recommended to be used above 500°C.

Metallographic structure of Inconel 601:
601 is a face-centered cubic lattice structure.

Inconel 601 corrosion resistance:
An important property of Alloy 601 is its oxidation resistance at temperatures up to 1180°C. Even under very harsh conditions, such as during heating and cooling cycles, 601 forms a dense oxide film that is highly resistant to peeling. 601 has excellent carbonation resistance. Due to its high chromium and aluminum content, 601 has good oxidation resistance in high-temperature sulfur-containing atmospheres.
