The GE IS220PAICH1A is an Analog I/O Pack, a key component in GE’s Mark VI control systems, supporting both simplex and Triple Modular Redundant (TMR) configurations for applications ranging from small setups to large integrated systems. It enables direct communication with specific sensors and actuators, minimizing interposing instrumentation to reduce single-point failures, enhance operational reliability, and lower long-term maintenance costs.

Integrated into the Mark VI architecture, it leverages Software Implemented Fault Tolerance (SIFT) for input voting, ensuring data integrity. The system handles up to nine 21-slot VME I/O racks within 40 milliseconds (including data voting), with inputs routed via each control module’s VCMI board and IONet for seamless inter-module communication.
