1. What is the purpose of the reverse mount design?

The reverse mount design allows the probe to be installed in confined spaces, where the sensor tip faces away from the mounting surface.

This configuration is ideal for applications with limited access or where the probe needs to be positioned in a specific orientation.

2. How does the probe measure vibration and position?

The probe operates on the principle of eddy current sensing, generating an output voltage directly proportional to the distance between

the probe tip and the observed conductive surface. It can measure both static (position) and dynamic (vibration) values .

3. Is the 330105-02-12-15-02-05 compatible with other 3300 XL probes?

Yes, the 3300 XL series components, including probes, are electrically and physically interchangeable with non-XL 3300 5 mm and

8 mm components, providing flexibility in system configuration .

4. What are the environmental considerations for this probe?

The probe is designed for use in harsh industrial environments and is approved for use in hazardous locations, meeting CSA, ATEX,

and IECEx standards .
