SH3498 Fully Automatic Wide Temperature Drop Point Instrument

The SH3498 fully automatic wide temperature drop point meter complies with the ASTM D2265 standard, with a microprocessor as the core, integrating mechanical, optoelectronic, and micro detection technologies. It has functions such as automatic temperature control, automatic adjustment of temperature rise rate, automatic detection and recording of drop point data, automatic printing and output, and completes the measurement of wide temperature drop points.

Drip point refers to the lowest temperature at which it reaches a certain fluidity under specified conditions, expressed in degrees Celsius. Drip point is the temperature at which lubricating grease changes from a semi-solid state to a liquid state under standard conditions. For lubricating grease, when heated under specified conditions, the lubricating grease softens with the increase of temperature. The temperature at which the first drop drops from the grease cup of the instrument or touches the bottom of the test tube in a cylindrical shape (the temperature point at which it changes from solid to liquid) is called the dripping point of lubricating grease. The drip point of lubricating grease is used to examine its ability to form grease at high temperatures
