Tank 400, Great Wall's SUV. It was released at the 2021 Chengdu
Auto Show on August 29, 2021. The Tank 400 continues to maintain
the family's straight line design, while the unique C-pillar shape
is impressive.
On February 22, 2025, Great Wall Motors' Tank 400 fuel version
(gasoline/diesel version) was officially launched. The new car
provides a 2.0T gasoline engine and a 2.4T diesel engine, matched
with a longitudinal 9-speed automatic transmission.
The Tank 400 continues to maintain the family's straight-line
design, and the unique C-pillar shape is impressive. At the same
time, we can also see the wheel arches protruding from the body and
the straight rear lines, which makes the new car still maintain a
tough style.
In addition, the rear of the car also uses an external spare tire
to highlight its tough SUV, coupled with four exhaust pipes on both
sides, it looks really good. It seems that Great Wall has figured
out the Tank series.
Mecha style: It adopts a mecha style design, with double horizontal
spoke center grille, floating front bumper with strong lines,
paired with imitation pupil headlights and cut-type mask, creating
a strong sense of technology and futuristic.
Tough lines: The side lines of the car body are tough, and the
flared wheel arches and rivet design highlight the vehicle's sense
of power; the windows behind the C-pillar adopt an irregular shape,
which increases the uniqueness of the car body.
Unique tail: equipped with a semi-exposed external spare tire,
unique energy wing mechanical taillights, and a side-opening
tailgate, further strengthening its hardcore off-road style
Other features: 5 double-layer laminated soundproof glass in the
front and rear rows, ANC active noise reduction, 10 speakers,
electric side steps, electric tailgate, automatic three-zone air
conditioning, etc., which enhance the comfort and luxury of the
car.
Driving assistance system: The entire series is equipped with a
standard L2 assistance system, which includes lane change
assistance, lane keeping, active braking, door opening warning,
front and rear collision warning, full-speed adaptive cruise
control and other functions, improving driving safety and
convenience.
