OV2740 2MP USB Camera Module
OmniVision's OV2740 USB camera module is an ultra-low-power full
high-definition (FHD) image sensor. The OV2740 module consumes less
than 90 milliwatts when recording 1080p HD video at 60 frames per
second (fps), and can output clear and detailed images even in
low-light environments. It is the lowest power 1080p/60 image
sensor on the market.

The OV2740 CMOS image sensor uses 1.4-micron pixels, a
signal-to-noise ratio of less than 50 lux, and improved full well
capacity (FWC) and sensitivity. The sensor can record best-in-class
1080p HD video at 60 fps and 720p HD video at 90 fps, and uses
interlaced high dynamic range (HDR) technology to minimize motion
artifacts, capturing clear and sharp video even in complex lighting
conditions.

The OV2740 camera module is the only 1080p HD image sensor with
Light Sensing Mode (LSM) and Ultra Low Power Mode (ULPM), enabling
advanced features such as motion detection or gesture control. In
addition, the sensor supports frame synchronization and stereo, and
can support a variety of depth perception applications. The OV2740
module is compact, measuring only 5.5 x 5.5 x 3 mm.
