Lightweight and high strength
Aluminum alloy has a low density (about 2.7g/cm³) and is much
lighter than steel, which greatly reduces the burden on the
staircase structure and facilitates transportation and
installation. Although the strength of 1 series pure aluminum is
relatively low, 3 series (such as 3003) has significantly improved
its strength by adding manganese elements, making it lightweight
and having good load-bearing capacity and deformation resistance,
which is enough to meet the use requirements of stair handrails.
Excellent corrosion resistance
One of the most prominent advantages of aluminum alloy. A dense and
stable aluminum oxide protective film will naturally form on its
surface, which has strong resistance to atmospheric corrosion. It
is not easy to rust, especially suitable for humid environments
(such as the seaside, swimming pool) or public places that need to
be cleaned frequently. The maintenance cost is much lower than
steel.
Good processing formability
Both 1 series and 3 series aluminum alloys have excellent ductility
and plasticity. It is easy to be processed into various complex
shapes and sections through extrusion, bending, welding, stamping
and other processes to meet the design needs of stairs in different
styles, such as modern simplicity, European classical, etc.
Surface treatment is diverse and beautiful
Anodizing: Forms a hard and durable oxide film, which can be
silver, champagne, bronze, black, etc., with good texture and
strong weather resistance.
Powder spraying: Extremely rich color selection, uniform coating,
strong adhesion, good weather resistance and scratch resistance.
Electrophoretic coating: Smooth and delicate surface, excellent
corrosion resistance.
Wood grain transfer: Simulate wood texture to meet the needs of
imitation wood.
