The GE IS200ERBPG1A is an Exciter Regulator Backplane (ERBP) from the EX2100 Series, integral to GE Excitation Control Systems. It enables connectivity between all mounted printed circuit boards via 3U/6U VME 96/128-pin DIN connectors, distributing power through these interfaces. Front power connectors support external boards and fan output.

Equipped with a board ID serial bus, it communicates with installed boards’ ID devices, which store serial numbers, types, and hardware revisions. It includes master selection jumpers for simplex or redundant setups. Non-VME compliant, it integrates control interfaces, communication ports, protection circuits, and monitoring features, ensuring reliable excitation system operation.
