Testing Machine Digital Tear Strength Tester
Introduction
The tear Strength Tester uses the Elmendorf Tear Method to measure the
force required for various sheet or film specimens to extend to a
specified length under specified loads and cracks. It can detect
the tear strength under impact forces ranging from 200 to 30,000
cN, with the impact force corresponding to a specific drop hammer.
The instrument now cuts a tongue-shaped notch on the sample, and
then measures the tear strength when the notch expands. The
instrument is designed to be convenient and flexible, and can be
used for various tests of both lightweight and heavy-duty samples.

Scope of Application
The determination of the tear resistance strength for various woven
fabrics (using the Elmendorf method) is carried out to test the
impact tear strength of textiles, woven fabrics, non-woven fabrics,
and coated fabrics. It can also be used for the burst strength
tests of silk, cotton fabrics, various papers, cardboard, and
single-layer and multi-layer corrugated cardboard.

interface for easy operation. Safety latch locks the heavy weight
during testing start and end to ensure operational safety；
7. Equipped with PC interface for connection to PC, which can record and statistically analyze test results, with the function of exporting in EXCEL table format, and can automatically print test reports.
