What is Casting Fitting?

What are the Types of Cast Tee?

Material Properties of CF8M/316
CF8M (commonly known as cast 316) material has significantly better
corrosion resistance than conventional CF8/304 material due to the
presence of molybdenum (Mo) element, especially its ability to
resist chloride pitting and crevice corrosion. This makes it a more
durable and reliable choice, especially suitable for plumbing
systems that may handle chemically treated water, brackish water,
or other corrosive factors, effectively extending the service life
of fittings.
Material and Standard Description
According to ASTM A351 standard, the official grade for casting 316
stainless steel is CF8M. Although the chemical composition of the
two is very similar, the industry usually uses the more well-known
"316" for labeling and communication. The cast pipe fittings
