• Function

1.Power transmission: As the core part of the planetary gear system, the sun gear is usually connected to the input shaft and is responsible for receiving the rotational power from the hydraulic motor or transmission output shaft. It transmits this power to the planetary gears meshing with it, and then the planetary gears drive the ring gear or carrier, thus realizing the power transmission to the final drive wheels or other working components.

2.Torque distribution: The sun gear can evenly distribute the torque to each planetary gear. This can reduce the wear of a single gear, improve the overall durability of the gear system, and enable the gear system to bear a larger load, ensuring the reliable operation of the equipment under harsh working conditions.
