1.Preventing oil leakage: It is installed between the valve stem
and the valve guide. The upper part of the valve is in the oil -
filled area of the cylinder head. The valve stem seal can prevent
the engine oil in the cylinder head from seeping into the
combustion chamber along the valve stem, avoiding oil consumption
and the formation of carbon deposits in the combustion chamber,
which can affect engine performance.
2.Ensuring gas - tightness: It can prevent the high - pressure gas
in the combustion chamber from leaking into the oil pan through the
gap between the valve stem and the valve guide. This helps maintain
the normal compression ratio of the engine, ensuring smooth engine
operation and sufficient power output. At the same time, it also
prevents the intake and exhaust gases from contaminating the engine
oil in the cylinder head, keeping the oil in good condition and
prolonging its service life.
