An HRSG (Heat Recovery Steam Generator) comprises three core sections:

Economizer: Preheats feedwater using low-temperature exhaust gas (250–350°C), improving thermal efficiency.
Evaporator: Absorbs medium-grade heat (300–400°C) to convert water into saturated steam.
Superheater: Elevates steam temperature to 500–600°C using high-grade heat, ensuring dry, high-energy steam for turbines.
