ASME SA213/ASTM A213 This specification covers seamless ferritic and austenitic steel boiler, superheater, and heat-exchanger tubes, designated Grades T5,TP304,TP316L,TP321, TP347, TP310S etc.

C → Reduces intergranular corrosion risk

Cr → Oxidation & corrosion resistance

Ni → Austenitic structure stability

Ti→Prevents carbide precipitation (sensitization) during welding or high-temperature exposure (450–850°C)

Austenitic Structure: Provides excellent toughness and high-temperature strength.

TP321 superior to 304/304L: Better resistance to intergranular corrosion in welded applications.
