They reduce thermal expansion or stress caused by temperature changes during pipeline transportation. They are one of the most commonly used components in pipeline systems, featuring a compact size, lightweight design, easy installation, reduced installation space, and material savings. During operation, they generate some displacement, which helps reduce vibration and noise in pipelines with significant vibration (such as pump systems).
