SH417 High Temperature and High Shear Tester
The SH417 high-temperature and high shear tester is a petroleum
product testing instrument manufactured in strict accordance with
the technical requirements of the standard test method for
measuring apparent viscosity at high temperatures and high shear
rates using a multi capillary viscometer according to ASTM D5481.
It is suitable for determining the apparent viscosity of
lubricating oil at high temperature and high shear rate, that is,
measuring the high-temperature and high shear dynamic viscosity of
lubricating oil, HTHS index. It is also applicable to determine the
dynamic viscosity and high-temperature high shear characteristics
of lubricating oil under high temperature and high shear rate
conditions using the SHT 0703-2001 method for measuring the
apparent viscosity of lubricating oil under high temperature and
high shear rate conditions (multiple capillary viscometer method).
The testing principle is to flow the sample out of the capillary
viscometer under the pressure of nitrogen (carbon dioxide) under
the test conditions of 150 ℃± 0.1 ℃. The apparent shear rate of the
capillary viscometer can be determined by the flow time and
pressure of the sample, and the viscosity of the oil corresponding
to the measured pressure can be obtained by calibrating the curve
of each viscometer cell.
The instrument combines the advantages of various domestic and
foreign products, and has made a series of improvements in
appearance design and operating program functionality, making the
instrument more satisfactory to users
All accessories of the instrument are made of imported original
components and processing technology, and can be exchanged with
imported instruments
The dedicated high shear viscosity microcomputer software makes the
testing process of the instrument simpler, more accurate, and
convenient
The instrument measurement units are calibrated using American
Keneng standard oil, and the experimental data is accurate and
reliable
The instrument is equipped with a dedicated pressure reducing
valve, making it convenient for users to connect gas cylinders and
operate them.
The glass capillary tube can be completely interchangeable with
imports, fully meeting the requirements of ASTM and SH/T standards,
with a diameter of 0.15mm and a length of 15-18mm
The experimental data is stored by a computer and can be
automatically printed.
Made of all aluminum material, neat and beautiful, with a compact
