ASTM A312 is a standard specification for seamless, welded, and heavily cold worked austenitic stainless steel pipes.

Chemical Composition (%)

Composition:
18-20% Chromium (Cr) – Provides oxidation resistance.
0.04-0.10% Carbon (C) – Improves creep resistance at high temps.

Mechanical Properties

Corrosion Resistance: Excellent against oxidation, sulfur, and acidic flue gases.
Mechanical Strength: Good creep & stress rupture resistance (superior to standard 304).
