1. Function: High-pressure hydraulic supply (25–120 psi) for clutch actuation and lubrication in Ford RWD applications.

2. Design:

   • Variable-displacement vane pump (12-vane rotor, hardened steel housing)

   • Electronic pressure control valve (PWM-regulated flow)

3. Key Specs:

   • Flow rate: 18–22 L/min @ 2500 RPM

   • Clearance: 0.02–0.05mm vane-to-cam (replace if >0.12mm)

   • Relief valve setting: 135±5 psi

4. Failure Modes:

   • Vane sticking (debris or fluid oxidation)

   • Pressure sensor drift (causing shift flares)

   • Drive gear wear (chain tension loss)
