• Function

​1.Power transmission for engine starting: The flywheel ring gear is installed on the outer edge of the flywheel. When the driver turns the key to start the vehicle, the gear in the starter rotates and meshes with the flywheel ring gear.

2.Energy and inertia storage: The engine's power output is discontinuous, and the power of each cylinder's working stroke is not continuous. The flywheel ring gear, together with the flywheel, can store the energy outside the engine's working stroke.
