1.Thermistor-Based Design:
The sensor utilizes a negative temperature coefficient (NTC) thermistor, where resistance decreases as temperature rises. Typical resistance values range between 275 Ω and 6,500 Ω, with precise calibration to match Komatsu’s engine management systems.

2.Signal Output:

Provides an analog voltage signal (1.3V–3.8V) to the ECU for closed-loop temperature control. This signal is distinct from the 12V output used for dashboard temperature gauges, ensuring compatibility with Komatsu’s dual-sensor architecture.

3.Construction:
Built with heat-resistant materials (e.g., stainless steel housing and fluorocarbon seals) to withstand extreme temperatures (-20°C to 200°C) and harsh operating conditions.
