High Quality Oil Gas Separator Core For Air Compressor

The air-oil separation element is a key component that determines the quality of compressed air in an air compressor. The high quality air-oil separation elements not only ensure the high efficiency of the compressor, but also the life of its filter element can reach thousands of hours.

Operational principle:

The compressed air from the compressor head entrains large and small oil droplets. Large oil droplets are easy to separate when passing through the air-oil separation tank, while small oil droplets (suspended oil particles below 1um in diameter) must be filtered through the micron glass fiber filter layer of the air-oil separation filter element. Due to the oil particles are directly intercepted by the filter material through the diffusion effect of the filter material and the mechanism of inertial collision and agglomeration, the suspended oil particles in the compressed air will quickly gather into large oil droplets. Under the action of gravity, the oil condenses at the bottom of the air-oil separator core and returns to the lubrication system of the machine head through the oil return pipe inlet at the bottom recess, so that the compressor discharges more pure and oil-free compressed air. The solid particles in the compressed air pass through the air-oil separator core and stay in the filter layer, which causes the pressure difference (resistance) of the air-oil separator core increasing continuously.

Replacement reason:

As the use time of the air-oil separator core increases, when the pressure difference of the air-oil separator core reaches 0.08 to 0.1Mpa, or when the compressed air outlet produces obvious oil content, the filter element must be replaced, otherwise the operating cost of the compressor (power or oil consumption) will increase .
