3M Scotch-Weld DP8005 is a two-part acrylic structural adhesive available in Translucent and Black variants. It features a 10:1 mix ratio by volume, 2-2.5 minute worklife, and room-temperature curing (8-24 hours), designed for bonding low-surface-energy plastics without surface pretreatment.

Product Description​

DP8005 enables direct structural bonding of polyolefins (e.g., PP, PE), replacing screws, welding, or chemical etching. Its solvent-free formulation delivers exceptional water resistance (95% strength retention after 14-day immersion at 160°F) and chemical resistance (withstands acids, alkalis, coolants), while flexible cured properties absorb stress.
