Product Introduction
Cemedine EP001K is an innovative two-part epoxy adhesive that
combines epoxy resin with silyl terminated polyether technology.
Unlike traditional brittle epoxies, it cures into a highly elastic
and resilient material, maintaining strong adhesion even under
stress, vibration, or thermal cycling. Its unique formulation
prevents peeling and excels in bonding dissimilar substrates with
varying expansion coefficients.
Enhanced Properties
EP001K’s hybrid chemistry delivers exceptional flexibility (200%
elongation) and low elastic modulus (3.2 MPa), absorbing stress
caused by thermal expansion or vibration. It retains adhesion
strength from -40°C to 100°C (see TDS data table) and withstands
1,000 hours at 85°C/85% RH with minimal strength loss. The
adhesive’s low Tg (-65°C) ensures performance in cryogenic
environments, while its 15×10⁻⁵/K linear expansion coefficient
reduces internal strain.
