Product Overview
Water Curtain Dust Removal Tower is a wet dust removal equipment
that uses a water curtain (water curtain) or a spray system to
capture, adsorb, and remove dust, smoke, and harmful gases in
industrial waste gas. Its core principle is to capture pollutants
by water droplets or water films through gas-liquid contact,
thereby achieving the purpose of purifying waste gas.

fertilizer fermentation tail gas, ammonia (NH₃) and other
fertilizer production-specific pollutants

Working Principle
1. Exhaust gas entry: Dust-containing gas enters the dust removal
tower from the bottom or side of the tower body.
2. Water curtain/spray washing:
Water curtain layer: Multiple layers of water curtains or spray
devices are set in the tower to form a water curtain barrier.
Atomized water droplets: High-pressure nozzles atomize water into
fine droplets to increase the contact area with dust.
3. Gas-liquid mass transfer: Dust particles collide and adsorb with
water droplets and settle with the water flow.
4. Gas-liquid separation: The purified gas is discharged after the
entrained water mist is removed by a demister (such as a baffle,
cyclone separation).
5. Wastewater discharge: Dust-containing wastewater is recycled
after sedimentation or discharged after treatment.

Daily maintenance
1. Inspection of circulating water system
Water level monitoring: Ensure that the water level in the water
tank is within the marked range (fertilizer dust is easy to absorb
water, so water needs to be replenished in time).
Water quality observation: Check the turbidity of circulating
water. If there are too many suspended solids (such as NPK
dissolved matter), immediately start the sedimentation tank to
discharge mud.
pH value test: Keep pH ≤ 6 (acidic environment) when handling
ammonia, and use test paper or online instrument to test daily.
2. Inspection of spray system
Nozzle patency: Manually clean the blocked nozzle (fertilizer
sticky dust is easy to block, it is recommended to use a spiral
nozzle with an aperture of ≤ 5mm).
Water pressure stability: The pressure gauge reading should be
maintained at 0.3~0.6MPa. If the fluctuation is too large, check
the water pump or pipeline leakage.
3. Fan and pipeline
Abnormal sound monitoring: Abnormal noise from the bearing may
indicate that fertilizer dust has entered the fan, and it needs to
be stopped for cleaning.
Duct dust accumulation inspection: Knock on the horizontal
pipeline, and the muffled sound indicates dust accumulation, and
the dust cleaning port needs to be opened (fertilizer dust
accumulation is easy to cause fire)
