    How to Replace the Punch Press Airbag


    1. Power off and pressure relief
    Disconnect the power supply of the punch press and lock it (lockout procedure, LOTO).
    Turn off the air supply, exhaust the residual air pressure in the air path, and ensure that the system is completely depressurized.


    2. Remove the old airbag
    Remove the air pipe joint connected to the airbag (note the position of the interface mark to avoid reverse installation).
    Remove the bolts or clamps that fix the airbag (special tools may be required).
    Carefully remove the old airbag and check for wear, cracks or signs of leakage.


    3. Clean the installation surface
    Clean the contact surface of the airbag installation position to ensure that there is no oil, rust or residue.
    Check whether the friction plate or linkage parts are worn and replace them if necessary.


    4. Install the new airbag
    Align the new airbag to the installation position and ensure the correct direction (refer to the original factory mark).
    Tighten the fixing bolts evenly (tighten in diagonal order to avoid uneven force).
    Reconnect the air pipe to ensure sealing (raw tape or sealant can be used).


    5. Testing and debugging
    Restore the air source, slowly increase the pressure, and check whether the airbag is evenly inflated and has no leakage.
    Run the test without load to observe whether the clutch/brake moves smoothly.
    Test by loading gradually to confirm that the punch press is working properly.


    Precautions


    1. Safety first: Be sure to operate when the equipment is completely stopped and there is no residual energy. Wear protective gloves and goggles to avoid fragments flying when the airbag ruptures.

    2. Matching model: The new airbag must be consistent with the original specifications (size, pressure level, material).

    3. Air circuit inspection: If the action is abnormal after replacement, check whether the air circuit is blocked or the solenoid valve is faulty.
