1. Good economy:
Compared with bridge cranes of the same tonnage, the equipment cost
of suspension cranes is usually lower.
The installation cost may also be lower because it utilizes the
existing plant structure (the structural strength must be confirmed
to be sufficient) and reduces the ground foundation engineering.
The operation and maintenance costs are also relatively economical.
2. Modular design and strong adaptability:
The main beam length and track span can be customized according to
the specific size of the plant.
The selection of electric hoists (such as running speed, lifting
height, and working level) also has a certain flexibility.
It has good adaptability to the plant, especially suitable for
renovation projects or places with limited space.
3. Main structure:
Main beam: Usually a box beam structure is adopted, which has good
strength and rigidity.
End beam: Connected to both ends of the main beam, equipped with
walking wheels and drive mechanisms, responsible for running along
the track.
Electric hoist: It is the core lifting mechanism, suspended on the
trolley track under the main beam, and can run along the main beam.
Common domestic hoist brands such as CD1/MD1, imported brands such
as Demag, Kone, and Anbo also have corresponding products.
Running track: Usually I-beam (such as I16, I20, I22, I25, etc.,
the specific size is determined by the lifting weight, span and
working level), fixed on the lower chord or support beam of the
factory building frame.
Electrical control system: Including power supply introduction,
motor control of each mechanism, protection device (limit switch,
overload protection, etc.) and operator (flashlight or remote
control).
4. Safety device:
Usually equipped with necessary safety devices, such as:
Lifting limit switch: Prevent the hook from hitting the top.
Cart/trolley travel limit switch: Prevent collision at the end of
the track.
Overload protection: (depending on the configuration) Prevent
overload operation.
Emergency stop button: On the operator.
Buffer: At both ends of the end beam, absorb collision energy.
