This thickness is optimized to balance strength (for pulling) and
formability
In some high-performance beverage cans (e.g., energy drinks), the
thickness may reach up
to 0.33 mm depending on the design.
Typical Temper
H19:
This is a fully strain-hardened temper.
Offers maximum strength without further heat treatment.
Ideal for stamped parts like pull tabs where shape retention and
springback resistance are critical.
Performance Advantages
