Overview

The NI USB-9162 (779471-01) is a portable, 8-channel USB data acquisition (DAQ) device designed for sound and vibration measurements. Part of National Instruments’ (NI) USB DAQ family, it combines IEPE (Integrated Electronics Piezoelectric) signal conditioning with high-speed analog inputs, making it ideal for acoustic testing, machine health monitoring, and structural analysis.

8 Analog Input Channels: Simultaneously sample IEPE sensors at up to 51.2 kS/s/ch.

IEPE Signal Conditioning: Built-in current source (2 mA or 4 mA) for accelerometers and microphones.

Wide Dynamic Range: 24-bit ADC resolution with ±10V input range.

Anti-Aliasing Filters: Programmable cutoff frequencies (5 kHz, 10 kHz, 20 kHz) to prevent signal distortion.
