to its excellent electrical conductivity, thermal conductivity and
corrosion resistance, it has attracted much attention in the

directions. This brass rod has high precision and is suitable for

control lathes, and CNC machines. The turning of brass parts is

- Corrosion resistance: Brass has strong oxidation resistance at room temperature. Its
surface can easily form a dense oxide film, and it has excellent
corrosion resistance in dry environments.
- Electrochemical corrosion (zinc loss corrosion): In environments containing chlorine (such as salt water or humid
hot climates), "zinc loss" occurs easily, and a sponge-like
corrosion layer forms on the surface.
- Antioxidation: When heated to high temperatures, it can react with oxygen to
form copper oxide and zinc oxide, which is suitable for CNC
processing techniques.
