01 - Introduction to Hot Melt Marking Paint
Hot-melt marking lines, as an important type of road markings, have
been widely applied in the field of road marking. They are highly
praised for their convenient construction, excellent wear
resistance, and cost-effectiveness. Hot-melt coating, as the main
component of hot-melt reflective road markings, usually consists of
thermoplastic resins, pigment fillers, reflective materials, and
various additives. In a normal temperature state, it appears as a
powder and does not contain solvent-volatile components. During the
construction process, it is heated to melt, then evenly applied to
the road surface using special equipment, and subsequently forms a
coating through physical condensation.

02 - Process and Construction Precautions
【 Construction Preparation and Precautions 】
During construction, please ensure that the base surface is dry and
clean to achieve the best construction results. Also, be careful to
control the construction thickness. It is recommended to use a
thickness of 1.8mm to ensure the durability and reflective effect
of the markings.
【Construction Key Points and Guidance】
In addition, please be sure to wear protective equipment to ensure
safety during the construction process. During the construction, it
is necessary to keep the working surface clean and dry. It is
recommended to carry out the work at temperatures above 0℃ (if
construction is carried out in a low-temperature environment,
please try to increase the material temperature). During the
melting process of the hot-melt marking paint, the temperature
should be controlled within the range of 180℃ to 220℃, and ensure
thorough mixing and uniformity. After melting, it is necessary to
keep it warm for 3 to 5 minutes before discharging to ensure that
the performance of the hot-melt marking paint is perfectly
displayed. At the same time, the treatment of the primer is
crucial. It must be allowed to completely dry before conducting the
marking coating.

immersed in water for 24 hours without any abnormalities. The
operating temperature range is 180℃ - 220℃, in line with the
JT/T280-2004 implementation standard, and the shelf life is up to
one year. When storing, it should be placed in a cool, dry, and
