Description of 6002 Ceramic Ball Bearings :
6002 ceramic ball bearings belongs to the ceramic deep groove ball
bearing series, 6002 ceramic ball bearings is mainly used in
compressors, eye drop machinery, transmission shaft, non-metallic
material testing machine, forging, casting machinery, packaging
mold, wind blades, leakage emergency, electronic and electrical
production lines, vehicle lights and other equipment.
Advantages and main properties of ceramic ball bearing:
(1) High temperature resistance
The ceramic ball is hot and the expansion coefficient is small. In
the high temperature environment, the bearing ball will not expand
because of the temperature, which greatly improves the use
temperature of the whole bearing. The temperature of the ordinary
bearing is about 160 degrees, and the ceramic ball can reach more
than 220 degrees.
(2) High speed
Ceramic ball has oil-free self-lubrication property, ceramic ball
friction coefficient is small, so ceramic ball bearing has a high
speed. According to statistics, the bearing with ceramic ball is
1.5 times more than the speed of the general bearing.
(3) Long life
The ceramic ball can not add any grease, that is to say, even if
the grease is dried, the bearing can still run, so as to avoid the
occurrence of premature bearing damage caused by grease in ordinary
bearings. According to the actual use data show that the service
life of the bearing after the use of ceramic ball is 2-3 times that
of ordinary bearings.
(4) Insulation

outer rings insulation, because the ceramic ball is an insulator,

Which is better, steel ball or ceramic ball
1. Friction:
Ceramic balls are rounder, lighter, harder, and smoother than steel
balls because they are not porous. This reduces friction and energy
loss, allowing your equipment to run more efficiently (and for
longer) using ceramic ball bearings. Because of their relative
smoothness, ceramic ball bearings require less lubrication than
steel bearings.
2. Corrosion:
Steel balls corrode over time, and ceramic balls do not corrode
even when perfectly lubricated. In fact, in terms of corrosion, the
service life of ceramic mixed ball bearings may be ten times that
of steel bearings.
3. Bearing seat ring:
Ceramic balls have much lower elasticity than steel balls, and keep
this in mind when considering upgrading to ceramic bearings. If you
encounter heavy spindle loads or spindle collisions, ceramic balls
are more likely to cause damage (indentation) to the bearing
raceway. Over time, dents in the raceway will grow larger,
eventually leading to spindle failure.
4. Electrical conductivity:
Ceramic bearings are non-magnetic and non-conductive, so they are
usually preferred in applications where electrical conductivity
needs to be considered. For example, if your motor is controlled by
a variable frequency driver.
5. Precision:
In terms of precision, the ABEC grade of the bearings we use is
high enough that there is little difference between ceramic
bearings and steel bearings. The only difference is that ceramic
bearings do not expand as thermal expansion as steel bearings, and
therefore do not generate as much heat at high speeds or have as
much measurable heat growth.
6. High temperature:
No matter the temperature suddenly rises, or the temperature
suddenly drops, our ceramic bearing has no effect at all. Switching
between high and low temperature has no effect on ceramic bearing.
7. Long service life:
The density of ceramic rolling ball is lower than that of steel,
and the weight is naturally light, so the friction generated by the
centrifugal force of rotating the outer ring can be reduced, and
the service life of natural ceramic bearings is longer.
