5005 aluminum alloy is a non-heat-treatable Al-Mg series alloy
known for its excellent corrosion
resistance, moderate strength, and good workability, widely used in
construction, transportation,
and appliance industries.
Key Characteristics
♦ Composition
Main alloying elements: Magnesium (0.5-1.1%), trace manganese
(≤0.2%), and low copper (≤0.2%).
Copper-free design provides superior corrosion resistance compared
to 2xxx/7xxx series alloys,
especially in humid/chemical environments.

Tensile Strength: 145-185 MPa (H32 temper)
Yield Strength: ≥115 MPa
