1.Description:

The BGD 650 Muller laboratory grinder is a powerful machine that can perform the best and perfect repeated grinding and dispersion in the laboratory. It is used for grinding and dispersing small amounts of paint and varnish raw materials.

This machine is composed of a steel frame and two ground glass plates, and its lower part is driven by a motor. The LCD display helps the operator set the total number of revolutions and automatically stops the motor when the number of revolutions specified by the user is reached. In addition, it also shows the total number of revolutions after each test cycle.

Sprinkle a certain amount of raw materials on the limited area at the bottom of the glass plate. The mixture is ground in continuous stages, for example, at 50 revolutions per stage under a pressure of 445N. Between each stage, the mixture should be redistributed within a limited area.

The BGD 650 Muller laboratory grinding machine is suitable for the preparation of dispersions for qualitative colorimetry and tinting strength testing of pigments, as well as for the preparation of small samples for pigment quality control.

Its use complies with ASTM D 387, ASTM D 332-B, ISO 8780-5 and ISO 787/16.
