PLC-controlled weighing scale. Accurately metered batches of base
material are fed into the coating chamber. Rotation conveys the
base material to the coating chamber wall. Solutions are fed into
the high-speed rotating disc liquid applicator by a positive
displacement pump, and powders are delivered in an alternating
cycle by a one-way distributor. The cycle time depends on the
product type and the amount of ingredients added.
Precise control of batch size and delivery of liquids and powders
maintains the consistency of the final coated product.
