Ductile iron manhole covers with square frames and round covers

only 1/40 of that of the steel pipe. It can resist erosion in harsh
environments such as sewage, acid and alkali; the surface hardness

Convenient space and operation: The square frame provides a larger
space around the wellhead. After the circular cover is opened, it
is convenient for maintenance personnel to go down to the well to
operate, and it is suitable for cable laying, pipeline maintenance
and other operations. Especially in the application of pipeline
wells such as communications and electricity, it takes into account
both wellhead protection and convenient operation.
Anti-skid and anti-theft design: The circular cover can be provided
with anti-skid patterns (diamond, wave pattern, etc.), which can
improve the friction in rainy and snowy days and reduce the risk of
pedestrians slipping; with anti-theft structure (spring lock,
special tool opening), the square frame can assist in reinforcing
the anti-theft device, reduce the possibility of theft, and ensure
the safety of underground facilities.

Aesthetic coordination: The square frame can be integrated with the
surrounding square road facilities (sidewalk bricks, pavement) and
architectural style, and the circular cover can be designed with
decorative patterns and logos (such as brand, load information),
which are both functional and aesthetic, and improve the
coordination of urban landscape.
Cost and efficiency: Ductile iron material is cost-effective.
Although the initial cost is higher than some materials, it has a
long life (up to decades) and less maintenance, which reduces the
overall cost in the long run; standardized square frames and
circular covers are suitable for prefabricated wellheads, with high
installation and replacement efficiency, shortening the
construction period and reducing the impact on traffic.
