The fluid channels formed inside the heat exchange tubes of a tube bundle heat exchanger are called the tube side, and the fluid channels formed outside the heat exchange tubes are called the shell side. Two working fluids with different temperatures enter the heat exchanger. The working fluid with a relatively high temperature transfers heat to the working fluid with a relatively low temperature through the heat exchange tube wall. The working fluid with a relatively high temperature is cooled while the working fluid with a relatively low temperature is heated, thus achieving the goal of the two fluid heat exchange process.
