Because polycarbonate PC has good light transmittance, impact
resistance, heat distortion resistance, good weather resistance,
high hardness, UV radiation resistance and the dimensional
stability of its products and good molding and processing
performance, it has obvious technical performance advantages over
the traditional inorganic glass used in the construction industry.
Combined with the excellent physical properties of silicone, it can
be widely used in automotive accessories, medical equipment,
astronaut protection products, optical mirrors, swimming goggles,
composite mobile phone cases and other electronic fields. Under
normal circumstances, the PC surface is treated with a primer and
then heated and bonded with platinum vulcanized silicone rubber or
liquid silicone in the mold to form an organic combination of
silicone and PC. In order to reduce the operating process links and
reduce costs, our company has developed the world's most superior
primer-free self-adhesive liquid silicone KL-2613AB. After curing,
it has good adhesion to the PC substrate, high transparency, high
temperature and humidity resistance, and can directly replace the
same-level products of Japan Shin-Etsu. The bonded parts can
withstand water, salt spray, chemicals, grease, solvents and other
harsh environments.
How to use Kanglibang PC self-adhesive liquid silicone KL-2613AB:
1.1 Use ratio: A:B=1:1 (weight ratio);
1.2 Weigh the materials in proportion and mix them evenly;
1.3 Degas the mixed colloid mixture under vacuum, and then inject
the colloid into the mold cavity;
1.4 After heating at 150℃ for 60-80 seconds, it solidifies into a
silicone body.
1.5 PC with special ester structure can be treated with corona
surface. Or use Kanglibang CL-24S-9 or CL-26AB-10 primer to
pre-treat the PC surface, which can greatly improve the adhesion
between silicone rubber and PC.
Precautions for PC self-adhesive liquid silicone KL-2613AB:
The colloid should be stored in a sealed manner, away from heat
sources and away from light;
At a certain temperature, the length of curing time is related to
the size of the encapsulated parts and the heat transfer efficiency
of the environment;
During the vulcanization process, this product is strictly
prohibited from contacting with compounds containing sulfur, tin,
arsenic, phosphorus, nitrogen, and lead, otherwise it will cause
poor curing of the colloid. Therefore, the compatibility test of
silicone rubber and substrate should be carried out before use.
Shelf life: 60 days at room temperature without mixing
